§ Mr. Muddasked the Secretary of State for Defence if it remains his Department's policy that firms accepted for Ministry of Defence contracts or subcontracts should be those operating trade union recognition and paying wages of at least up to the average rate for the district.
§ Mr. William RodgersFirms accepted for Ministry of Defence contracts or subcontracts are required to observe and fulfil the obligations specified in the Fair Wages Resolution passed by the House of Commons on 14th October 1946.
