§ Mr. Harold WalkerI am informed by the Chairman of the Health and Safety Commission that 178 complaints against firms situated in the city of Birmingham were received during 1974. These listed 300 individual items of complaint of which 136 were found to be justified. Three of the firms complained about were successfully prosecuted on a total of 17 counts and fines totalling £740 were imposed.
