§ Mr. George Cunninghamasked the Minister of Overseas Development when and by what means she proposes to suggest to Parliament that it should authorise the provision of public funds to the Crown Agents in accordance with her statement of 18th December.
§ Mrs. HartAs I announced in the House of Commons on 18th December last—[Vol. 883, c. 1579.]—financial assistance of £85 million has been made available to the Crown Agents and an advance from the Contingencies Fund has been made for this purpose. Provision for this sum will be sought in a Supplementary Estimate to be presented to Parliament shortly.
