§ Dr. OwenMy right hon. Friend has received letters from Members of Parliament inquiring about the future of the Elizabeth Garrett Anderson Hospital. In addition, some members of the public have written directly to urge the continuance of the hospital. Camden and Islington Area Health Authority (Teaching) has been authorised to undertake formal consultations on the future of the hospital. When these consultations are completed any proposals must be agreed by my right hon. Friend.
