§ Q20. Mr. Grimondasked the Prime Minister if he will make a statement giving details of the organisation of ministerial functions as they affect Scotland.
§ The Prime MinisterThe main executive functions of the Secretary of State for Scotland are set out in Table 5.1 of the Report of the Royal Commission on the Constitution. Appendix D of Volume 1 of the report deals with these functions in greater detail and also indicates the extent to which Departments other than the Scottish Office exercise functions affecting Scotland.
I would also refer the right hon. Gentleman to the reply which I gave to my hon. Friend the Member for South Ayrshire (Mr. Sillars) concerning the forthcoming transfer of powers in the industrial field on 20th December 1974.
