asked the Secretary of State for Social Services how many members of the North-East Thames Regional Health Authority were formerly members of the North-East Metropolitan Regional Hospital Board; and if she will publish a table showing the types of body on which the current members served prior to appointment, related to their present functions.

Three members of the North-East Thames Regional Health Authority were formerly members of the North-East Metropolitan Regional Hospital Board.
