§ 24. Dr. Brayasked the Secretary of State for Employment whether he will 318W increase rapidly the number of retraining places available in the West of Scotland in view of the increased number of redundancies now occurring.
§ Mr. Harold WalkerI am informed by the Manpower Services Commission that the Training Services Agency plans in 1975 a 24 per cent. increase in the numbers completing courses under the Training Opportunities Scheme in the West of Scotland and aims to provide such additional training facilities as may be necessary to meet the retraining needs of redundant workers when those are known.
