Mr. Geoffrey Finsberg

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer when the last appointment was made to the Steward- ship of the Manor of Northstead; and by what procedure the holder relinquishes the appointment.

The last appointment to the Stewardship of the Manor of North-stead was made on 16th February 1973.

An appointment normally continues until determined by a subsequent appointment to the Stewardship, but a Steward may relinquish his post before a new appointment is made, by application to the Chancellor of the Exchequer.
