§ Mr. Kilfedderasked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland why, and on whose instructions, Mr. Robert Fiske, Relfast correspondent of The Times. was questioned by members of the RUC Special Branch.
§ Mr. Merlyn ReesI understand that Mr. Fiske was questioned in Northern Ireland by officers of the RUC on Wednesday 5th February on the instructions of senior officers of that force. Police inquiries are continuing, and I can make no further comment.
