HC Deb 13 February 1975 vol 886 cc187-8W
Mr. John Evans

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment what is the estimated number of classified unfit houses that will be cleared in 1975–76 in Scotland, Wales and each of the eight English regions served by an economic planning council.

Mr. Kaufman

No national or regional estimates are made of the number of unfit houses that are to be demolished in any given year. Clearance programmes are matters for individual housing authorities who have complete discretion in the exercise of their statutory duties.
