§ The Attorney-GeneralThe Committee on Defamation under the chairmanship of Mr. Justice Faulks was appointed in June 1971. The report was signed by the committee and submitted to my noble Friend in August 1974. It was not possible to publish it immediately because of printing difficulties. It was brought up to date by the committee and submitted in its final form on 2nd January 1975, when the work of printing it could be immediately put in hand. The report is now being printed, and will be published shortly.
