§ Mr. Charles R. MorrisNo. It is the responsibility of Ministers to satisfy themselves that the people they appoint to statutory bodies are ones best fitted for the job. In making such appointments they are not reliant on the existence of lists, but are, nevertheless, always glad to hear about, and taken note of, people650W whose qualifications and experience might equip them for such appointments. There are no set criteria, whether political or otherwise.
