§ Mr. John SmithRecoverable reserves of gas from proven and probable discoveries were estimated, in the 1974 report to Parliament, as about 35 TCF (1012) cubic feet. My right hon. Friend will be publishing revised estimates in this year's report. Conservation strategy for gas is being formulated as progressively more information becomes available.
