§ Dr. SummerskillThe Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis informs us that he is not aware of such statements. Information about truancy which has recently been quoted in the Press as coming from the Metropolitan Police was supplied by them to the Inner London Education Authority at the request of one of the authority's officers. We have no reason to doubt its accuracy.
