§ Mr. David Walderasked the Secretary of State for the Environment what estimate his Department has made of the likely increase in population in the Ribble Valley area in the next five and the next 10 years, respectively.
§ Mr. OakesThe Department of the Environment does not make population projections for county districts; but when the North East Lancashire Structure Plan is presented it will take account of movements in population within its area, which will no doubt include the Ribble Valley.
