§ 29. Mrs. Renée Shortasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will introduce new measures to deal with juvenile delinquency in view of the fact that in 1969 juveniles were responsible for 23.7 per cent. of indictable offences and in 1973 for 24.6 per cent.
