§ Mr. Cartwrightasked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether he will introduce legislation to require all local authorities to ensure that any residents displaced by their actions are informed personally of their rights to claim home loss payments under the Land Compensation Act 1973, and to provide that, where such notification is not carried out, the six-month time limit for claims be set aside.
