§ Mr. Sillarsasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what is his estimate of the number of pupils who will leave school at summer this year; and how many are expected to leave at Christmas.
§ Mr. William Ross65,000 pupils are expected to leave at the end of the summer term in 1975 and 14,400 at Christmas. In addition, about 3,000 are expected to leave either this month or at the end of this term, giving a total of 82,400 for the calendar year.
