§ Mr. FreesonThe level of employment in the construction industry is likely to be lower in 1975 than in 1974 as a result of the decline in demand on the industry, although various measures taken by the Government, including those announced by my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for the Environment on 27th January to restore confidence to private housebuilders, should help the employment situation. No official forecasts of construction employment are published.
