§ Mr. JuddWhen not on Royal duty, the Royal Yacht is available for naval duties, including national and treaty exercises and Sea Day demonstrations. Routine hydrographic tasks are also undertaken during voyages on Royal duty. HMY "Britainnia" also has a rôle as a hospital ship should the need arise.
