§ Mr. Tebbitasked the Secretary of State for Industry (1) what consultations he has had with Ministers responsible for the aerospace industries of fellow member States of the EEC concerning a system of permanent consultation proposed in the recent resolution of the Council of Ministers;
(2) what views he has expressed to his fellow Ministers in the EEC who are responsible for their national aerospace industries concerning the proposal for structural alignment for aircraft firms in the nations of the Community.
§ Mr. MeacherNone. I should make it clear that the resolution has not yet been adopted by the Council. It has been approved in principle, but the Council of Ministers has yet to adopt it formally.
