§ Mr. Cyril Smithasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department (1) if he will make a statement about the visit he made to Asia during the Christmas Recess and say what conclusions and decisions he came to concerning the waiting lists for entry and the delay in granting interviews;
(2) what steps are being taken to reduce the waiting period for people from Dacca and Islamabad wishing to join relatives.
