§ Mr. Corbettasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he will now take steps to revise the 375W appeals procedure under Rule 42 of the Immigration Act 1971 to allow non-patrials under notice of deportation access to all the evidence concerning allegations against them and for hearings to be in public and with full rights of legal representation.
§ Mr. Roy JenkinsI have no present plans for changing the procedure for appeals in cases of deportation on grounds of national security, but I will keep the matter under review.
