§ Dr. GilbertNo. Concessionary fares are the responsibility of the local authorities. Such expenditure does not qualify for Transport Supplementary Grant. The Government recognise that the extension or improvement of schemes or the introduction of new schemes is not possible in our present economic circumstances.
