§ Mr. Wigleyasked the Secretary of State for Prices and Consumer Protection what was the percentage increase in the rate of consumption of butter between the time of formulation of the original 1975–76 Civil Estimates and the latest Supplementary Estimates.
§ Mr. MaclennanThe original Estimates were based upon a forecast of butter consumption in the current financial year. This has now been revised upwards by about 9 per cent.
