§ Mr. BishopIn the year ending 31st killed pork and other pigmeat products were produced in the United Kingdom. Separate figures for production in Wales are not available. But is provisionally estimated that about 12,000 tons, or 1.3 per cent. of the total, can be attributed to animals slaughtered in Wales. Total supplies of pork and bacon moving into human consumption in the United Kingdom are estimated at 1,154,000 tons for the same period.
