§ Mr. Ernest G. Perryasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what action he has taken following the answer he gave on 4th August to a Question by the hon. Member for Battersea, South about the possibility of extending parole.
§ Mr. Roy JenkinsI have agreed with the Parole Board new detailed criteria for the grant of parole. Guidance about this is being sent to local review committees at prisons. I am arranging for copies to be made available in the Library of each House.
