§ Mr. John SmithThe total net inland consumption of all principal gases in the United Kingdom in 1974 was 16,585 million therms of which about 26 per cent. was from sources other than natural gas. Total gas sent out by the public gas supply system was 13,451 million therms of which about 4 per cent. was from sources other than natural gas.
