asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether they will list all projects for which they have applied to the Social and Regional Fund of the EEC.

Aid has been applied for from the EEC Social Fund for the following projects: Training and resettlement schemes for workers in the assisted areas of Great Britain; training schemes run by various Industrial Training Boards; schemes to assist workers in or leaving the textile industry and to assist ex-agricultural workers; various training schemes designed to maintain employment in rural areas of Great Britain and Northern Ireland; schemes to help young people in a time of high unemployment; various schemes to assist disabled people and to train those professionally involved with them; various schemes to assist migrant workers and their families; training and retraining programmes run by nationalised industries; various schemes of training run by private companies in Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

As for the Regional Development Fund, applications under consideration by the Commission are treated as confidential. When decisions are made on applications, announcements will be made and the Commission are expected to announce the latest allocations from the Regional Development Fund this week.
