§ Mr. Clinton DavisMy right hon. Friend's aim was to appoint a small committee which would be able to produce a speedy but thorough report. It was, therefore, necessary that all its members should be able to contribute relevant personal knowledge over a wide range, and the members selected include a number who are closely acquainted with the areas of industry my hon. Friend has in mind. It will of course be open to all interested parties to submit evidence to the committee and I hope that they will do so.
