§ Mr. Adleyasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will raise in the Security Council of the United Nations as a threat to world peace the armed intervention by the Government of the USSR in the civil war in Angola.
§ Mr. EnnalsI refer the hon. Member to the reply given on 26th November to my hon. Friend the Member for Sheffield, Heeley (Mr. Hooley)—[Vol. 901, c.203]—There are reports that the OAU may shortly be considering Angola. We welcome this. When I have seen the OAU's conclusions I shall consider further the hon. Member's suggestion.
