§ Mrs. Millie Millerasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if she will take steps to implement the recommendations of the World Plan of Action adopted at the International Women's Year Conference in Mexico City for the period 1975 to 1980 in connection with the increase of provision for comprehensive measures for health, education and services, family education, family planning and other welfare services.
§ Mrs. CastleThe Government are fully aware of the important contribution which these services can make to the general health and well-being of the people. It is planned to publish a consultative document on preventive medicine early in 1976 with the object of stimulating wider discussion and interest in the preventive health services. We shall continue to sustain and develop our provisions in this country to the full extent that resources permit.
