§ Mr. Sillarsasked the Secretary of State for Social Services how many organisations have written to her suggesting the establishment of a deficit fund for voluntary 222W organisations; what consideration she has given to these suggestions; and what replies she has sent.
§ Dr. OwenThe only organisation which has written to my right hon. Friend on this matter is the Central London Branch of the Association of Clerical Technical and Supervisory Staff of the Transport and General Workers Union.
The association has written in the same terms to other Ministers who are concerned, and she is consulting them before a reply is sent.
