§ Mr. Wigleyasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will ensure that in the future all tax revenues arising in Wales are identifiable as such so that they might be available on request to interested parties.
§ Mr. Robert SheldonEstimates of income tax paid by residents of Wales are made regularly, based on the Inland Revenue's Annual Survey of Personal Incomes, and figures for 1973–74, the latest available year, will be published shortly in Inland Revenue Statistics 1975. Estimates of corporation tax paid by companies on profits arising in Wales are more difficult to make as these profits cannot always be identified, but broad approximations are possible. Estimates of Customs and Excise duties and taxes borne by residents of Wales are available on request.
