§ Mr. Edward ShortAs regards the initial cost of production and publication of the register I would refer the hon. Member to the reply which I gave to the hon. Member for Romford (Mr. Neubert) on 3rd December—[Vol. 901, c.604.]—The estimated annual cost of maintaining the register, including staffing costs, cannot be isolated from the general administrative costs of the services of the House.
