§ Mr. Budgenasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will set up a register of the dependants of citizens or former citizens of the New Commonwealth resident in the United Kingdom; and restrict entry into the United Kingdom to such registered dependants.
§ Mr. Alexander W. LyonNo. We are not satisfied that, even if we could overcome the difficulties experienced in 1965, when an attempt was made to set up such a register, it would be of practical value.
