§ Mr. Blakerasked the Secretary of State for Defence whether the opportunity has been taken in recent exercises to test the future organisation in BAOR as proposed in the defence review.
§ Mr. MasonI can confirm that to test the new organisation a series of command post exercises has already been held in BAOR this year and that in October there was an exercise involving elements of two divisions based on the proposed divisional organisation. Further trials and evaluation culminating, we hope, in a full-scale corps exercise will continue in 1976.
