§ Mr. Lawrenceasked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether approved driving instructors will be exempt from the obligation to wear a safety belt whilst giving tuition in the same way as he plans to exempt driving examiners from the obligation when on a test.
§ Dr. GilbertNo decisions have yet been taken as to exemptions under the proposed Road Traffic (Seat Belts) Bill. I shall consult the representatives of driving instructors and examiners, and other interested bodies, at the appropriate time.
