HC Deb 09 December 1975 vol 902 cc117-8W
Mr. Viggers

asked the Secretary of State for Defence (1) if he will list the quantities, geographical locations and dates of disposals by his Department of radioactive waste;

welfare workers, friends or relatives, trade unions or voluntary agencies, respectively; and in respect of each, in how many cases a decision was given in favour of the appellant.

The Attorney-General

The tribunals to which my hon. Friend refers appear to be:—

(2) if he will list the quantities, geographical locations and estimated dates of intended disposals by his Department of radioactive waste.

Mr. William Rodgers

The disposal of radioactive waste by the Ministry of Defence conforms strictly with requirements agreed by Departments. All interested bodies, including local authorities, are kept informed, but I cannot give a comprehensive list of all past disposals.
