§ Mr. Robert Taylorasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will list in the Official Report the Advisory Boards related to the construction industry on which his Department is represented.
§ Mr. ArmstrongThe Department is represented on the Economic Development Committees for Building and for Civil Engineering and their Industry Strategy Committee and on the Economic Development Committee for Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Construction.
Departmental advisory bodies on which there are members from the construction industry are the Construction Industry Liaison Group, the National Consultative Council of the Building and Civil Engineering 130W Industries and its committees, the Construction and Housing Research Advisory Council, the Road Construction Liaison Committee, advisory committees of the Building Research Establishment, and the Regional Joint Committees for the Building and Civil Engineering Industries.
The Construction Exports Advisory Board is about to be established.
