§ Mr. Gregor MackenzieThere is no statutory requirement for any person to notify the Department of vacant factories. Information is, however, collected from local authorities, new town corporations, developers, and so on, in the assisted areas for use in making location suggestions in response to inquiries from firms.
The information available in my Department shows that, at present, there are three vacant factories on the Speke Industrial Estate.
