§ Mr. Ian Lloydasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what is the total expenditure which has now been incurred by regional health authorities throughout the United Kingdom employing additional contract labour to discharge services to private and amenity bed patients in hospitals where National Health Service employees who are members of NUPE have refused to undertake such services.
