§ 26. Mr. Stonehouseasked the Secretary of State for Industry what monitoring arrangements he has instituted for the supervision of multinational corporations controlled from outside the United Kingdom and, in particular, to check on transfer payments between subsidiaries of such corporations.
§ Mr. VarleyUnited Kingdom registered subsidiaries of foreign-controlled corporations are subject to the same supervisory requirements as domes-tic-controlled companies. Payments between subsidaries, particularly those which attract duties or taxes, are monitored by the Departments concerned.
