HC Deb 05 December 1975 vol 901 c358W
Mr. Wigley

asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science how many persons sat and passed higher national diploma examinations in England and Wales, respectively, in each of the past five years.

Mr. Mulley

The information requested is not available in my Department for England and Wales separately. The number of students enrolled on Higher National Diploma courses at colleges in England and Wales respectively are shown below together with figures for the total numbers of entries and passes—England and Wales together—supplied by the several joint committees responsible for examinations at this level.
