§ Mr. Nicholas Wintertonasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and 744W Food whether he will take steps to ensure that brewers produce beer with a minimum guaranteed amount of traditional ingredients.
§ Mr. StrangThe Food Standards Committee is at present carrying out a full review of the composition and labelling of beer. The nature and extent of any action that needs to be taken will be decided in the light of the Committee's report and representations made about its recommendations.
