§ Mr. BishopIn the course of agricultural research and development work the Ministry conducted experiments during the last financial year involving about 99,000 animals, ranging from cattle to small mammals and birds. The main objectives of this experimental work are the improvement of the health, welfare and productivity of farm animals and the control of disease.
