HC Deb 04 December 1975 vol 901 cc686-7W
Mr. Watt

asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if we will now seek a permanent derogation from the skinned heads directive of the EEC.

Mr. Strang

No. For the reasons given in my reply to the hon. Member for Oswestry (Mr. Biffen) on 25th November we could not justify such a step.—[Vol. 901, c.100.]

Mr. Watt

asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food how many cases of atritoxis in sheep have been reported in Great Britain in the past five years.

Mr. Strang

My veterinary advisers do not know of a condition called by this name.
