Mr. Tebbit

asked the Secretary of State for Trade if he will tabulate the numbers of persons employed together with the output and profit or loss, adjusted to 1975 values, of each of the State-controlled industries for which he is responsible for each year since they came into State ownership.

Except for the adjustment of financial results to 1975 values, this information is provided in the annual reports and accounts of the bodies concerned, copies of which are available in the Library.

The following tables give the information for the last 10 years for BA and for the last nine years for BAA.
