Mr. Greville Janner

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment in how many and what percentage of reported accidents during each of the last five years for which records are available brake failures were wholly or partially responsible; in how many and in what percentage of such cases in which defective condition of brakes was diagnosed was death and injury, respectively, caused; and, in each such case, to how many persons.
