§ Mr. Grocottasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether Her Majesty's Government have ratified the London Dumping Convention 1972.
§ Mr. EnnalsThe Convention entered into force on 30th August 1975. The United Kingdom Instrument of Ratification was deposited in London, Moscow, Mexico City and Washington on 17th November 1975 in accordance with Article XVIII of the Convention. The Convention enters into force for the United Kingdom on 17th December 1975.
As required by Article XIV(i) of the Convention, Her Majesty's Government are calling a meeting of the contracting parties to take place in London from 17th to 19th December 1975.
